A member of our “COMPLAINT SINGAPORE” Facebook group forwarded us his complaint post where he found what seems like “cockroach leg” inside the ice coffee he ordered from Ya Kun Kaya Toast, located at Raffles Place on 18 August 2021 at around 1.40pm.
According to the complainant, he had already reported the incident to the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) for investigation, and possibly, further action against the said errant merchant.

“I don’t usually post anything online but I feel the need to raise awareness so that nobody has to go through what I went through.
No refund was given and they offered to replace my ice coffee (?!)
Reposting what I posted on Ya Kun Kaya Toast
I was at One Raffles Place (18/08/2021, 1:40pm) outlet and ordered a ice coffee. While sipping on the drink, i found what seems like a cockroach leg in the drink (I pull that nasty thing out from my mouth). I cannot imagine what kind of ingredients are blended together in the coffee.
A very traumatising experience for me and the staff has already acknowledged the incident. Sharing this here so that nobody has to go through this again.”

Complainant further added on, after traumatizing experience, despite raising the issue and asking for a refund, the said outlet staff only offered to replace the ice coffee only
Complainant would like to raise awareness to everyone to check their food or drink before consuming in the future.
