A member of our Complaint Singapore (Facebook Group & Page) sent us a video showing many public taxis queuing at White Sands (Shopping Mall), causing inconvenience and obstructions to other road users, even despite having “Double Yellow Zigzag Lines” (*No stopping on the side of the road at all time).

Under LTA – Land Transport Authority parking rules, the offence of “Stopping a vehicle on a road with double yellow zig-zag lines, or on the adjacent footpath” carries a fine for S$120 + 3 demerit points for any first timer of light vehicles in Singapore.
