Someone wrote a complaint Facebook post in which he warning all Singapore landlords to beware of a couple, believed to be of Philippines nationality, who had left their rented unit in a hurry, and left the room in a terrible state!
According to the said post, there is a long list of defects and issues that they have not rectify (as tenants) before they left.. leaving them for the poor elderly landlord to settle!
Is this acceptable?

Is there anyway the landlord can claim against the tenants?
Are the preventive measures or remedy available for landlords against such errant tenants?
